REGULAR MEETING OF ACADEMIC COUNCIL AT UNIVERSITY

The meeting of Academic council at University, in which the heads at department and heads in structural divisions were present, took place on 18, December, 2013 in morphological building of NMU.

The first question in agenda was the report by rector academician in NAMS of Ukraine, professor V.F. Moskalenko about most important events in the University, which were held during two last months.

The second question in agenda was personnel issues. As a result from secret voting due to decision from Academic council at University professor at department of otorhinolaryngology, Doctor of Medicine, professor O.M. Naumenko was elected to the post of prorector on scientific pedagogical, clinical work and postgraduate education, professor at department of anesthesiology and intensive care, Doctor of Medicine, assistant professor S.O. Dubrov – to the post of dean on internship and advanced study of doctors, Candidate of Law I.S. Demchenko – to the post of head at department of medical and pharmaceutical law. As well, Doctor of Medicine, professor V.D. Pariy was elected to the post of head at department of health care management, Doctor of Medicine, professor A.S. Svintsitskyy – to the post of dean at department of internal medicine No 3, Doctor of Medicine, professor V.G. Cherkassov – to the post of head at department of human anatomy.

The following persons were elected to the post of professors at the following departments: department of ophthalmology – Doctor of Medicine, assistant professor O.P. Vitovska, department of social medicine and health care – Candidates of Medicine, assistant professors L.I. Galiyenko and F.Ya. Stupak, department of psychiatry and narcology – Doctor of Medicine, senior scientific worker N.O. Dzeruzhynska, department of surgery No 3 – Doctor of Medicine, assistant professor P.V. Ivanchova, department of children’s therapeutic dentistry and prevention of dental diseases – Doctor of Medicine, assistant professor O.I. Ostapko, department of children’s surgery – Doctor of Medicine, assistant professor V.P. Prytula, department of pediatrics No 3 – M.P. Prokhorova.

The third question in agenda was the report on topic “Continuous professional development of doctors and pharmacists as a prerequisite for provision with competitive training of specialists: standardization of postgraduate education”, which was presented by prorector on scientific pedagogical, clinical work and postgraduate education professor O.M. Naumenko.

The report about “Life and activity of professor Gudzenko P.M. (to 100^th birthday)” was presented by head at department of pediatrics No 3 professor Yu.V. Marushko.

The winners in all-Ukrainian competition of students’ scientific works on natural, technical and humanitarian sciences in 2012/2013 academic year were awarded with diplomas during the meeting, namely: Golubenko Oleksii (diploma of I degree in the sphere of “preventive medicine”), Likhodiyevskyy Volodymyr (diploma of I degree in the sphere of “theoretical medicine”), Kuzhel Oksana (diploma of I degree in the sphere of “clinical medicine”), Misiura Oleksii (diploma of II degree in the sphere of “preventive medicine”), Maranov Andrii (diploma of II degree in the sphere of “historical sciences”), Kolbasiuk Iryna (diploma of II degree in the sphere of “clinical medicine”), Lazareva Kateryna (diploma of II degree in the sphere of “clinical medicine”), Shynkaryk Yuliya (diploma of II degree in the sphere of “clinical medicine”), Nosenko Viktoriia (diploma of II degree in the sphere of “clinical and fundamental medicine, dentistry, pharmacology (in English language”), Zarubina Valeriya (diploma of III degree in the sphere of “clinical medicine”), Maliutina Oleksandra (diploma of III degree in the sphere of “clinical medicine”), Kostiuk Iryna (diploma of III degree in the sphere of “pharmaceutical sciences”).
