FIRST PERFORMANCE OF FILM “AMOSOV. CENTENARY”

The first performance of documentary film by producer Serhii Lysenko “Amosov. Centenary” for colleagues and friends was held at Cinema House in Kyiv within events, devoted to celebration of 100th anniversary for birthday of famous doctor-surgeon, scientist, writer, public leader, academician, full member in NAS of Ukraine, first director in Kyiv scientific research institute of cardiovascular surgery Mykola Amosov. According to the words of producer Serhii Lysenko, the purpose was to make such film, which would have the value of documentary evidence.
The film was financed by representatives from Association of cardiologists, cardiac and vascular surgeons, as well as the family of Mykola Amosov. The filmmakers visited all places, where Amosov stayed, both in Ukraine and Russia, in order to track the life journey of famous surgeon and scientist. The film is not only the biography of doctor but it is the film about values, internal moral law that governed the whole life of famous cardiac surgeon. The film will be broadcasted for wide public in TV channel “Inter” on 6, December on the day when Mykola Amosov is one hundred years old.
