AFTER 60 YEARS AGAIN WITHIN THE WALLS OF ALMA MATER

Famous Soviet and Russian cardiologist, Honorary Doctor of Medicine at Bogomolets National medical university, laureate of Nobel Prize for Peace, graduate from Kyiv medical institute in 1953 academician Yevgen Ivanovych Chazov and his daughter corresponding member in RAMS, professor Iryna Yevgenivna Chazova visited the University on 26, November, 2013. Academician Ye.I. Chazov within the walls of native University officially opened the renewed lecture hall No 2 in sanitary hygienic block, which will bear the name of O.V. Korchak-Chepurkivskyy. Rector of the University academician V.F. Moskalenko made the presentation about legendary personality of O.V. Korchak-Chepurkivskyy and mentioned that the defenses of doctor’s and candidate’s dissertations were held in this lecture hall for many years, thus, this tradition will be continued further.
