THE NEW CHAIRMAN OF O.A. KYSIL SSS WAS ELECTED
The general meeting of O.A. Kysil Students’ scientific society took place on 9, February, 2016 in morphological building of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.
The following persons were present at the meeting: pro-rector on scientific activity, professor Tetiana Cherenko, scientific consultant in O.A. Kysil SSS, professor Oleksander Burianov, head at scientific research unit, professor Andrii Kopchak, head at department of intellectual property and transfer of technologies at scientific research unit Andrii Dinets, head at Students’ parliament Kostiantyn Kovalishyn, chairman in trade union of students Vlasiy Pylypko, president of UMSA Garik Melkumian, members in O.A. Kysil SSS, students’ active group of University.

Kysil SSS, professor Oleksander Burianov, head at scientific research unit, professor Andrii Kopchak, head at department of intellectual property and transfer of technologies at scientific research unit Andrii Dinets, head at Students’ parliament Kostiantyn Kovalishyn, chairman in trade union of students Vlasiy Pylypko, president of UMSA Garik Melkumian, members in O.A. Kysil SSS, students’ active group of University.
The reporting conference started from the report by chairman in O.A. Kysil SSS Stanislav Ustinov about the work of Society for 2014-2015.
During the period of activity the following events were held:
· International conference of young scientists due to European sample for the first time in NMU – 235 participants took part in it, 168 oral reports, 11 poster reports were presented within the conference, 7 master classes were performed, the sponsors were involved;
· Over 40 interdepartmental and interuniversity meetings were held, there are 65 scientific clubs at departments;
· 20 conferences, seminars, symposiums;
· 5 games of format “What? Where? When?” – one topical game in psychiatry and 4 games within the championship;
· 2 university brain rings;
· Regular classes of students in established English speaking club;
· Telebridge between universities of Ternopil and Lviv;
· 4 lectures by foreign specialists from Israel, Greece, Canada and Sweden.
Six members in Society became the winners in scholarship program by Victor Pinchuk’s Fund had the probation abroad within the joint program with all-Ukrainian association of medical students.
The people, present in presidium, shared their opinion about activity of Society. According to the words by pro-rector on scientific activity, professor Tetiana Cherenko “O.A. Kysil SSS is the most active students’ society, which takes part in grant conferences, international probations and fruitfully works, introducing the elements of innovations into its work”.
The scientific consultant of O.A. Kusil SSS, professor Oleksander Burianov is sure that “the main task of Society is to reinforce the level and quality of study at University through scientific achievements”.
“The period for staying at scientific society is the school, which forms a future scientist, and namely the Society shall become the locomotive of science. The support by University administration will be overall in performance of teleconferences, webinars and new forms for meetings of students”, told the head of scientific research unit, professor Andrii Kopchak.
The head in department of intellectual property and transfer of technologies at scientific research unit Andrii Dinets is sure that “the participation in Students’ scientific society is the important step for further medical career, and the students’ exchange at international level enlarges the perception of science”.
The work of O.A. Kysil SSS under the head of Stanislav Ustinov was assessed as satisfactory by students’ active group. The most active members in Society received the certificates of merit.
After reporting part of the conference the present people listened to the election programs of candidates to the post of chairman in O.A. Kysil SSS – Yevgeniy Kostiuchenko and Sofiia Nikolayenko, as well as the information about candidates to the Council of Society.
Due to the results from secret voting the students of the 3rd course in medical faculty No 1 Sofiia Nikolayenko was elected to the post of chairman in O.A. Kysil Students’ scientific society.
The Council of SSS includes Yuliia Antoniuk, Dmytro Assonov, Yuliia Buslenko, Mariana Gorovtseva, Ahmad Djuma, Yaroslav Karmazin, Yevgeniy Kostiuchenko, Mariana Liashko, Valentyna Makayeva, Raschad Mamedov, Dmytro Pavlenko, Solomiia Semeniv, Roman Trachuk and Vitalina Fedkiv.
The University administration and students’ community congratulates the newly elected chairman of O.A. Kysil SSS Sofiia Nikolayenko and members in Council of Society and wishes the new scientific achievements to them, as well as thanks the previous team of young scientists under the head of Stanislav Ustinov for performed work.
